More About Greenwood

Total School Guidance Program
We want you to succeed and we help you every step of the way. After a successful stay at our school, you will be ready to select a mainstream or alternative high school that meets your academic needs. Our guidance counselor will work closely with you and your family to help you make a smooth transition.

Continuous Entry Into Our Program Is A Key Feature
We welcome students who are new to Canada. If you are between
the ages of 13 and 21, we may be the school for you. We can help
you develop the four language skills in English essential to thriving
in Canada, including listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Language Enrichment Academic Program (LEAP)
We offer two different Literacy Enrichment Academic Programs
(LEAP) for students with gaps in their education. One program is
designed for students under 16 years of age. Our second program
supports students over 16 years of age. Contact the Toronto
District School Board (TDSB) to enroll in our LEAP program.

Facilities
We maintain technical facilities to support you in our programs. We
have three computer labs, a gymnasium, a cafeteria and a life skills
classroom with kitchen facilities. We are home to a specialized
English as a second language (ESL) library filled with many
resources that can help you learn English.

Safety
We operate on a foundation of respect and our code of conduct
supports how we are to treat each other. We invite you to click
