Greenwood Soccer is back!

The Greenwood Senior Boys soccer team has begin it’s season this fall.  We have more than 20 senior boys practicing and playing this year.  Roland Balogh, Ronto Kristof, Richard Molnar and Lakatos Gabor are seniors returning from last year’s team which played North Toronto CI in the semi finals of the Senior Tier 2 TDSB league.

The Greenwood team is a very young team with many players that are here from all over the world.  Mr.  Danese and Mr. McKenzie welcome the new players and want our Greenwood team to do well.  New players that can help our team compete this year are Abselomi Woldermeariam, Yahye Farah, Piriyhankan Kanauthurai, Wuyigong Abudoawaidi, Joseph Alouti, Adham Alazhari, Josef Racs and Segni Borena.

Our team will continue to practice and improve in the hopes of reaching our goal of playing in the quarter final playoff round.  Please see the school calendar for upcoming scheduled games.  Go Greenwood!
